Karolina was named the 2015 Thalia Award winner for outstanding stage performance in musicals for Wendla Bergman’s portrayal in Awakening of Spring.

Karolina Gudasová was born on August 12, 1992, in Munich, Germany, where her father was a Hedos München hockey player. Since she was a child, she has been figure skating, having grown up on the rink.
She has also played the piano since she was five years old and continues to do so now. She began dancing after exchanging her figure skating shoes for sponge cakes when she returned to Bohemia in Beroun at eleven.
Karolina joined the dance group RAK Beroun in the Show dance formation category. She competed in various national, European, and world championships throughout eight dancing seasons.
During her studies at Beroun’s multi-year grammar school, a music education professor in Karolna noticed her musical and vocal skills. As a result, she began studying singing at the V. Talich Art School, then with Lda Nopová, and finally with Professor Rybka.

Karolina Gudasová graduated from high school in 2011, landed a role in the jazz musical Hours Go Backwards, and opted to attend art school.
She did not finish her education and focused only on musical acting.
In 2012, Karolina had her Company debut in the musical Nine at the JKTyl Theater in Pilsen. Cats and Hello Dolly both gave her significant parts.
She made her Broadway debut in the musical Soap Prince at the Broadway Theater in Prague in 2015, playing the part of Mara afaková.
Karolina also launched her debut song, “Black and White,” with a music video in January 2015, and she wrote both the music and the lyrics.
Michal Neuvirth, an NHL hockey goalkeeper for the Philadelphia Flyers, has been her partner since 2016.
